7 months down....12 weeks to go!

So far.....
Weight gain: Not going there. The scale is broken! LOL
Food cravings: Not so much these past few weeks.
Food aversions: Still no honey mustard!
Swelling: Like a Macy's parade float! OMG my poor feet!
Movement: He really got a kick start this past week! He is moving a lot more now. It's the most amazing feeling in the world! I'm going to miss him being on my belly...but then again I can't wait to have my baby in my arms.
Anything new: Well if you read my facebook post you know about the incidents that happened on Tuesday. I didn't think it was anatomically possible for your heart to fall into your ass! I was so scared for my Jacob! I didn't get hit like super hard but it was hard enough to give me some cramping which is what scared me most. It's so crazy! You go into this like motherly protective mode where you only have one thing in mind and that's your child....you could be bleeding all over in major pain but you don't even notice because you have a one track mind...."is my baby ok?" That's it. That's ALL you can think about. I now know why my mother cried every time she thought I was lost....and I didn't think it was that big a deal at the time. Or, when she felt bad for yelling at me....even though I deserved it. She called me yesterday feeling a little blue....I think she misses me....She is amazing! She still isn't sure whether or not I felt she did a good job in raising me....if you knew my past you'd know why.....I was like, "Are u kidding me?" I'm very happy with my life right now and it is all because of the way she raised me and the morals I learned....which shaped me into the woman I am today. If it wasn't for my mom marrying my step dad, who had to do some "fine tuning" thanks to my father, I think I would be lost. I was molded into this person because of both of you as a team. I love you both and hope I am half the parents you were!
I also got to see Jacob on an ultrasound! He was SO fricken adorable! He already weighs 3lbs! My little porker! And he had the cutest cheeks ever! Will can't wait to meet him....he likes to feel Jacob kick. I swear this kid knows when daddy is around because whenever Will says good bye to me in the morning Jacob starts kicking....if Will puts his hand on my belly, Jacob kicks where his hand is....unbelievable!
We also got our glicer and changing table in the mail. I can't wait to have his room complete! Well I think that's it for now. I will update again in a couple weeks!

26 weeks!!

We are at 26 weeks now! Weight gain....yeah lets not go there! I know they say boys make you bigger but good grief! No new cravings recently thank god! Aversions- still not a huge fan of beef right now. I'm trying to cut back on all the carbs my body has been craving. Mostly breads and pastas not so much sweets. Either way doesn't help with the weight. I have to start walking 20 min a day 5-6 days a week because my circulation sucks right now. Not to mention it helps with labor. I had my monthly checkup on Wednesday and the midwife said the baby is measuring big for 26 weeks....I'm thinking, "Gee you don't say!" LOL. I told Will and he said if this baby is tall I have some explaining to do LOL! I'm 5'3 and he's like 5'8ish 9ish so this kid has no chance at being tall. Watching what I eat shouldn't be too hard right now since I can barely fit anything into my tummy anymore! Sleeping also has been a challenge. Work has been slow so I haven't been working much. I have an interview with the L&D department at the hospital I will be delivering at on Monday. Hopefully I can get some hours there! I loved my clinicals in L&D during school! Will is getting more excited every day. He wants the baby here already and I'm like NO! I'm not ready yet! lol. I signed us up for the baby classes so we will be attending those in June. Not too much longer....14 more weeks. Man that doesn't sound long at all! I can't wait though! I wanna meet my little bladder kicker! Here is an updated photo of me 26 weeks pregnant.
