I know I have been slacking on the blogs lately. I have been so tired lately and haven't had a chance to take a belly pic....but I have one now so here it is....
This is me at 15 weeks! We had our 14 week appointment this past Wednesday and we finally got to hear Lil Bean's heartbeat! It was 162 bpm. I asked the midwife if that means its a girl since girls heart rates tend to be high and she said it's too early for that to be accurate. We have decided not to do the quad screen. We both have grown so attached to this little baby and we are going to love it no matter what. I started to get some nausea again this week accompanied with migraines about once a week. Both are starting to die down a little so that's good. I finally got a picture printer after looking all damn day today lol. We got an Epson Artisan 710. It prints great and fast pictures! I wanted it for my scrapbooking. I got some of Lil Bean's scrapbook done today. Will took some pics of me while I was doing it lol.....
So far it is adorable! We find out on February 17th if it's a boy or girl....we both feel it's a boy which most likely means it's a girl lol. Will is so excited! He wants the baby to come out like yesterday lol and I'm like NO! Stay in there I'm not ready! LOL! Work is going great! I work with a lot of nice people and it's been really relaxed and not too stressful thank goodness. We will be going home from March 4th-15th and our shower is on the 14th. I can't wait! I miss our family sooooo much!! That's all for now. I will post again when we find out the sex so you all can know. I can't wait!

What would you do???
In between weeks 16-18 some woman opt for the quad test which tests for down syndrome, trisomy 18,and neural tube defects. I have heard about this test giving false positives. In all honesty....and I know some of you don't agree with my decision but please try to understand....if our baby were to come back positive I don't know if we could keep it. Those issues require a lot of medical attention, money, time and stability. Medical attention no problem...money is a problem...time= me not working which we can't afford at all and I would feel horrible not being able to give my special needs baby the time it deserves...and stability is something not given being a military family traveling every 3 years and a possibility of going over seas. A part of me is thinking, "What's the point? You are young, healthy, and have no genetic ties to any of these birth defects" The other part is thinking, "Just get it done to make yourself feel better". Will wants to get it done to be on the safe side. We decided to talk to the midwife about it at our next appointment in 2 weeks. What are your thoughts???

12 weeks!!
Well we have made it to our 12th week! one more week until we are out of the first trimester. Here is a pic of Lil Bean at 10.5 weeks....
Not the greatest picture because they use a little sonogram machine but you can kinda see Lil Bean to the right of the bulge. Will couldn't get a good shot. Lil Bean was moving his/her arms and legs around the whole time though it was so cute! This is my belly pic at 12 weeks.....
It's so weird for a woman to gain weight and be ok with it. I'm still dealing with a little bit of a complex but I will be ok lol. My shower will be on March 13th in Miami. I was going to wait a little longer but I can't fly past a certain time and plus we are dying to go home! A lot of my symptoms are gone except for the pinched sciatic nerve and some food aversions.....oh the occasionally exhaustion. We will be registering at Babies R' Us and Target...maybe La Ideal too since Will's mom works there. Not until we know the sex of the baby though so it's easier for people to shop. We went to dinner tonight and the two tables across from us had little babies....they were so fricken adorable! Me and Will just kept talking about how much we can't wait to have our own and all the little silly things we will catch the other one doing.....like he swears I'm going to watch the baby like a hawk for the first few nights it sleeps and I swear I will find the baby asleep on his chest while he plays XBox lol. It feels like this pregnancy is taking its sweet time. I can't wait to find out what we are having! We still have a definite boys name (Jacob) but we have decided to go with a different girls name.....Gabriella...whatcha think? Also, any opinions on what to put on a registry that we may not think of please feel free to put in a comment on here...Thanks!

11 weeks!
This week I feel sooooo much better! I actually had the energy to go to the gym today. It was awesome! We had our second prenatal appointment this past week and we got to see Lil Bean on the sonogram. He/she was shaking his/her arms around and dancing it looked like lol. So fricken cute! My nausea for the most part is gone...it only shows up when certain foods are mentioned...it's so random lol. I can't find the heartbeat yet with my doppler which sucks but at our next appointment at 14 weeks we should be able to hear it. 2 weeks left of the first trimester and then I can breath a little more lol. I finally had a baby dream! It was a cute little boy and I was trying to get him to breast feed but the lil stinker wouldn't latch on to my nipple. It was nice. I hope I have more dreams like that because I have been having mostly bad ones about weird creatures and such. Anyway, I'm still waking up every 2 hours to pee which is not helping my sleep pattern but since I'm going to bed at like 9pm every night (yes, I'm lame) It averages out I guess. I've got a little belly going so far and I've gained like 6lbs. I didn't get the benefit of having major morning sickness and losing some weight before starting to gain lol. O'well I guess it's better that way I hate being nauseous! I will post pics at 12 weeks :)
