31 weeks!!!

This Saturday is our 31 week mark. Little Jacob is doing great! He is moving all the time and gets the hiccups pretty often LOL. So here is a little update....

Weight gain- lets not go there...

New cravings- corn on the cob...I know it's so random lol

Food aversions- anything super sweet I can't eat right now.

Movement- quite a bit now. Will got to feel the babies butt yesterday at my appointment. The midwife was showing him where Jacob's head and butt were in my tummy. Then Jacob got pissed because we kept messing with him and he started kicking up a storm!

Swelling- Oh my goodness yes! My poor feet and hands!

I'm sleeping a little better now thank god! I'm so anxious for these next 9 weeks to fly by. Since I haven't been working I have been home a lot just doing things around the house and getting Jacob's nursery ready. I already washed all of his clothes and bedding. I've been watching baby shows on TLC and Discovery channel. It's so amazing I can't wait! We are going to get our maternity pics done soon. I'm so excited! We don't have any professional pictures of us yet. I will post again in a few weeks with new belly pics.

7 months down....12 weeks to go!

So far.....
Weight gain: Not going there. The scale is broken! LOL
Food cravings: Not so much these past few weeks.
Food aversions: Still no honey mustard!
Swelling: Like a Macy's parade float! OMG my poor feet!
Movement: He really got a kick start this past week! He is moving a lot more now. It's the most amazing feeling in the world! I'm going to miss him being on my belly...but then again I can't wait to have my baby in my arms.
Anything new: Well if you read my facebook post you know about the incidents that happened on Tuesday. I didn't think it was anatomically possible for your heart to fall into your ass! I was so scared for my Jacob! I didn't get hit like super hard but it was hard enough to give me some cramping which is what scared me most. It's so crazy! You go into this like motherly protective mode where you only have one thing in mind and that's your child....you could be bleeding all over in major pain but you don't even notice because you have a one track mind...."is my baby ok?" That's it. That's ALL you can think about. I now know why my mother cried every time she thought I was lost....and I didn't think it was that big a deal at the time. Or, when she felt bad for yelling at me....even though I deserved it. She called me yesterday feeling a little blue....I think she misses me....She is amazing! She still isn't sure whether or not I felt she did a good job in raising me....if you knew my past you'd know why.....I was like, "Are u kidding me?" I'm very happy with my life right now and it is all because of the way she raised me and the morals I learned....which shaped me into the woman I am today. If it wasn't for my mom marrying my step dad, who had to do some "fine tuning" thanks to my father, I think I would be lost. I was molded into this person because of both of you as a team. I love you both and hope I am half the parents you were!
I also got to see Jacob on an ultrasound! He was SO fricken adorable! He already weighs 3lbs! My little porker! And he had the cutest cheeks ever! Will can't wait to meet him....he likes to feel Jacob kick. I swear this kid knows when daddy is around because whenever Will says good bye to me in the morning Jacob starts kicking....if Will puts his hand on my belly, Jacob kicks where his hand is....unbelievable!
We also got our glicer and changing table in the mail. I can't wait to have his room complete! Well I think that's it for now. I will update again in a couple weeks!
